During our one day trip in Kuala Lumpur, we took the chance to visit Pavilion – one of the more high-end mall around, heading towards 6th floor – the Tokyo Street. Most of the shops interior are based on Japanese culture, many of the shops are named in Japanese character. Japanese Lantern are used for the lighting decoration. One thing worth mentioning is the variety of the exquisite japanese snacks and beverages. Here’s a good place if you have not come across Mochi Sweets, Kindori ice cream,  japanese crepes, Ochado or  Oyaki.. We’ve also spotted some of Japanese famous sweets and candies, traditional Japanese items, authentic hot foods and etc.

After walking around the ‘Street’, we went to Santouka Hokkaido Ramen, a ramen specialized restaurant. Honestly speaking, I was a bit put down as the Tokyo Street is actually pretty small. For some reason, we felt that the only purpose of going to Tokyo Street in pavilion is just to dine in that restaurant. The place is pretty crowded and most of the people are waiting to be seated. If you want to avoid the queue, you may consider visiting the shop in an earlier hour around 5.30pm -6pm or making a phone reservation.

Love the Mario and angry bird ! The noodle restaurant you mentioned is quite good, but at the same time pricey, think I’ve paid RM25 – RM35 for a bowl of ramen. *sssuuuu
